Clear Capital

Mike Ousley is Executive Vice President of Appraisal Services for Clear Capital^®. He oversees the direction and growth of the team responsible for providing reliable appraisal products to mortgage servicers, mortgage originators, mortgage insurers and government sponsored enterprises.

Mike's professional background spans more than thirty years of real estate collateral assessment, mortgage banking, and private and public business. Early in his career, Mike served as Vice President at California Federal Savings Bank and was instrumental in setting service and quality standards for the banks offices throughout northern California and Nevada.

He also founded Foster Ousley Conley, an appraisal review organization, and led it through its growth from a small two-person operation to a nationwide firm employing more than 400 people, supporting thousands of appraisers vendors, and managing multiple offices across 25 states.

After Foster Ousley Conley, Mike founded Appraisal Enhancement Services (AES), a nationwide firm assisting mortgage originators and the investment banking community in managing thousands of daily real estate transactions. AES also provided collateral risk audit tools and scoring models, appraisal review, and real estate valuation services. AES clients included many of the largest real estate lending, mortgage insurance companies, rating agencies, and investment banking firms in the United States.

Mike has also served as the Chairman of the Chief Appraiser's Council and the President of the California Association of Residential Lenders.

Outside of the office, Mike spends his free time with his wife and three daughters enjoying outdoor activities such as snow skiing, biking, golfing, hiking, and watching the sunsets over Lake Tahoe from his boat. Mike also enjoys volunteering his time as a coach for one of his daughter's
lacrosse teams.
